SAN DIEGO

Guild Mortgage Co. has selected Wendy Wong as its first senior vice president and chief marketing officer to support its national growth plan.

Wong, who previously held senior marketing positions with The Ken Blanchard Cos., Fair Isaac Corp. (now FICO) and HNC Software, will provide marketing and branding leadership to Guild's retail, correspondent, consumer direct and servicing business units.

SAN DIEGO

ReverseVision, a provider of software and technology for the reverse mortgage industry, said that Jamie Hopkins has joined its board of directors.

Hopkins is associate professor of taxation and co-director of the New York Life Center for Retirement Income at The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

He also holds the Larry R. Pike Chair in Insurance and Investments at The College, where he teaches courses in retirement, estate planning and life insurance.

TUSTIN

New American Funding has appointed Frank Fuentes as national vice president of multicultural lending.

Fuentes will work alongside Patty Arvielo to push out initiatives through grassroots events, strategic partnerships and social media.

He will also represent New American Funding on panels with organizations like the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

The National Technology Security Coalition said that Selim Aissi, chief security officer for Ellie Mae, has been appointed to serve on the NTSC board of directors as a founding board member.

The National Technology Security Coalition is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that will drive the national dialogue on technology security in the United States.

TEXAS

AUSTIN

Open Mortgage has named Kevin McKnight vice president of sales.

With more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, McKnight most recently served with Homebridge Financial.

He also held the position of regional manager at Stonegate Mortgage.

HOUSTON

Envoy has hired Tim Wagner as its new senior vice president/chief marketing officer.

Prior to Envoy, Wagner was the chief operating officer at B2B Web Ventures, SVP/chief marketing officer at Pacific Union Financial and VP ecommerce/integrated marketing at Nationstar Mortgage.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS

Assurant Inc. has hired Daniel Hoppes as a senior vice president.

He will oversee the Assurant valuations, field services and mortgage technology product lines, as well as the newly acquired American Title Inc.

Most recently, Hoppes served as senior vice president for CoreLogic.
